We collect information that you provide directly when you create an account, build your profile, participate in a career fair, apply for opportunities, communicate through the platform, or contact us for support. Depending on the features you use, this may include:

• Your name, email address, and other account or contact information;
• Education, employment history, skills, qualifications, and other professional information;
• Resumes and other documents you choose to upload;
• Profile photos, videos, recorded responses, and other content you choose to provide;
• Information about career fairs, employers, and job opportunities with which you interact;
• Job applications and responses you submit through the platform; and
• Communications you send through USA Career Fairs or to our support team.

We also collect limited technical and usage information necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve USA Career Fairs. This may include device and app information, app interactions, diagnostic and crash information, security information, and identifiers necessary to provide app functionality such as push notifications.

USA Career Fairs does not use your personal information for third-party advertising, does not include third-party advertising in the app, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising purposes.

We do not collect precise location information or access your device contacts.

When you choose to use features that require access to your camera, microphone, photos, or files, we request the appropriate device permission and use that access to provide the feature you requested, such as creating or uploading profile content and video responses.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Create, authenticate, and maintain your USA Career Fairs account;
• Build, maintain, and display your career seeker profile;
• Connect you with participating employers, career fairs, and job opportunities;
• Process and manage job applications and related responses;
• Support the career fair experience before, during, and after an event;
• Provide participating employers with profile or application information made available through the intended platform workflow;
• Communicate with you about your account, applications, events, opportunities, service updates, and support requests;
• Provide and improve app functionality, analytics, performance, security, and troubleshooting;
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, misuse, security incidents, or technical problems; and
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

3. Information Shared With Employers

USA Career Fairs is designed to help career seekers connect with employers. When you participate in a career fair, apply for a position, make your profile available through an intended platform feature, or otherwise interact with an employer through USA Career Fairs, relevant profile and application information may be made available to participating employers.

The information available to an employer depends on the applicable feature, your interaction with that employer or opportunity, and the information you choose to provide. We do not provide employers with unrelated private account information that is not part of the intended career seeker or application experience.

4. AI-Assisted Features

USA Career Fairs may use automated and artificial intelligence technologies to analyze information associated with career seeker profiles, applications, and job opportunities and to provide employers with tools such as matching information, rankings, scores, or other insights intended to assist with candidate review.

These tools are designed to support, rather than replace, employer decision-making. USA Career Fairs does not use these tools to independently make final hiring decisions on behalf of employers.

Information processed through these features may include professional profile information, qualifications, application information, and other information you choose to provide through the platform.

5. Service Providers and Technology Partners

We use service providers and technology partners to help host, operate, secure, analyze, maintain, and support USA Career Fairs, including providers that may support cloud infrastructure, communications, analytics, diagnostics, file or media processing, and AI-assisted functionality.

These providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to provide their services and subject to applicable contractual, security, and privacy requirements. We do not sell personal information to these providers or permit them to use personal information on our behalf for third-party advertising.

6. Advertising, Tracking, and Sale of Personal Information

The USA Career Fairs mobile app does not contain third-party advertising. We do not sell personal information. We do not use personal information to track users across other companies' apps or websites for third-party advertising or advertising measurement.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide USA Career Fairs, maintain your account, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and meet legitimate legal, security, operational, and recordkeeping requirements.

We do not retain personal information indefinitely when it is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes.

8. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your USA Career Fairs account and associated personal data at any time. Account deletion can be initiated directly within the USA Career Fairs app or through our Account Deletion page.

When an account is deleted, personal information associated with the account is removed from active production systems, except for limited information that we may retain when required or permitted for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, regulatory, or similar purposes.

Deleted information may remain temporarily in secure backups until those backups are overwritten or expire through our normal backup-retention cycle. Backup copies are not used to restore a deleted account except where required for security, disaster recovery, or legal purposes.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. Data transmitted between the app and our services is protected using appropriate transport encryption. Authentication credentials are handled using security practices designed to prevent storage of passwords in readable plaintext.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

10. Device Permissions

Certain features may request access to device capabilities such as the camera, microphone, photos, or files. We request these permissions only when needed to provide a feature you choose to use. You can manage device permissions through your device settings, although disabling a permission may prevent the corresponding feature from working.

11. Push Notifications and Communications

If you enable push notifications, we may use a device or push-notification token to deliver app notifications. You can manage notification permissions through your device settings.

We may also send service-related communications concerning your account, applications, events, security, support requests, or important changes to the service. Where required, promotional communications will include appropriate choices for managing those communications.

12. Your Privacy Choices

You may review or update certain account and profile information through the USA Career Fairs app. You may also request deletion of your account and associated personal data as described above.

13. Children's Privacy

USA Career Fairs is intended for individuals seeking employment and career opportunities and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected, we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes to USA Career Fairs, our data practices, legal requirements, or the services we provide. When we make changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this policy.
